Blue skies towered over the RSAW’s Spring Conference this year, set once again in Clough Williams-Ellis’ other-wordly village of Portmeirion on the Dwyryd estuary. In the spirit of the rugby tournament of the same name, this year’s ‘Six Nations’ themed conference welcomed a diverse range of speakers from Wales, England, Scotland, Ireland, France and Italy for a day of lectures and debates, each one powerful in their own ways. The current political climate made this year especially thought-provoking, reminding us of the social responsibilities we hold, our differences not something to be tolerated, but actively celebrated.
