Contemporary addition and adaptation works to traditional cottage in the upper Swansea valley.
Spaces within the existing cottage have been consolidated and the entrance relocated to a double height entrance atrium and stairwell to the rear, denoting a visible junction between existing and new building fabrics.
In contrast to the stone cottage, the additional accommodation to the rear of the atrium is clad in timber to reflect its rural context.
