Tai Betws

A series of sustainable family homes designed in reference to agricultural typologies on a hillside in Betws, West Wales.

The scheme uses a  farm building tectonic to settle the structures in their semi-rural location. The project takes advantage of the views offered across the valley by introducing  living accommodation on the upper floors and bedrooms on the lower ground, reversing the typical residential format.
